I’m a Postdoctoral Fellow with the NOAA-EPP Cooperative Science Center for Earth System Science & Remote Sensing Technologies Center (CESSRST). My advisors are Dr. Jimmy Booth of City College of New York and Dr. Tom Galarneau of the NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory. My project focuses on the characteristics and predictability of extreme rainfall in New York City with the September 2021 Hurricane Ida flooding as a case study.
I received my Ph.D. in Earth Science in September 2023 from Columbia University. My thesis was centered on the mechanisms and timescales of Arctic & Antarctic amplification. I am also an active Python package developer. Check out my GitHub.
